First rider off 7.30pm
NB. This season the each event will be (approx) 12.5 miles, this is to alleviate any issues with the official ’10’ stating point as we have received a ‘friendly’ letter from the owners asking us not to use the driveway!
Signing on is in The Lamb PH in Iron Acton. Race starts on the B4058 and goes straight out through Cromhall to the roundabout at the top of Charfield hill and retrace to finsh area. As previous years the event will be jointly run with KTC, so there is racing every week with Velo Club having their event on alternative weeks. Series to finish with the annual VCB vs KTC on the 16th August. £4 entry fee.
It’s a social event as well as a great race and work-out. So ideal as an introduction for new members as well as seasoned riders. Marshals and helpers always welcome.
